Privacy policy

Effective 27 October 2026. This policy covers the Thronefold app for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Who we are

Thronefold is made by Colrae Pty. Ltd., an Australian company, under the Colrae brand ("Colrae", "we"). More about us: About.

Ads in the app come from a Google AdMob account owned by Colrae Pty. Ltd. That company is responsible for the ad data described below.

Accounts and progress

Thronefold has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not run servers for the game.

Game progress, streaks, stars and settings are stored on your device only, using shared_preferences. They are never sent to us.

Ads

The app is free with ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, using the google_mobile_ads plugin. This includes rewarded videos and interstitial ads.

Google may collect:

  • device identifiers:
    • on iPhone and iPad, the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when Apple asks through App Tracking Transparency
    • on Android, the Android advertising ID, unless you have deleted it in your device settings
    • on both, an app set ID and other identifiers that Google limits to its own apps or to one developer
  • your IP address and approximate location
  • how you interact with ads
  • diagnostics

Google uses this information to serve, measure and personalise ads, and to prevent fraud.

Consent is handled with Google's User Messaging Platform. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or in an applicable US state, Thronefold asks for consent or offers opt-out choices. You can change those choices later. Thronefold support says where.

You can also limit ads in your device settings:

  • On iPhone and iPad, turn tracking off for Thronefold in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • On Android, delete or reset your advertising ID in your device's Ads settings.

Sales and purchases

Colrae does not sell your data. There is no in-app purchase at launch.

Children

Thronefold is rated for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13. Ads are limited to G and PG-rated content.

How long data is kept

We do not hold your game progress, streaks, stars or settings, so we have none of that data to keep. Google keeps the ad data it collects under its own rules, described in its privacy policy.

Your rights

Colrae handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Because we do not collect your game data, we usually have nothing to provide or correct. For a question or a complaint, contact us using our contact form. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
